Performed in-depth reviews to help provide a complete set of design documents and detail drawings. The new roof was set to have an SBS modified bitumen roof over tapered insulation at all roof areas. In areas that were visible from the interior of the clinic, roof pavers set on pedestals were to be utilized so as to be more aesthetically pleasing.
During the construction process, performed periodic site visits to ensure the construction process was progressing as planned. Water testing was also observed during construction to ensure water-tightness and conformance to design criteria and specifications. A building enclosure “kick-off” meeting was held where the general contractor and sub-contractors could ask questions pertaining to the building enclosure. Prior to construction commencing, he was responsible for reviewing submittals, shop drawings, and responding to RFI’s. Throughout the project, provided design direction and clarification to the contractor and designer to ensure that the new building enclosure system was installed as per design documents and drawings.
